Week Thirty

We spent the week hanging out with your Grams, Uncle Dave and Auntie Court. BBQ'n, Wine Tasting (well not you), and just relaxing.

Week Twenty-Eight
This was a really joyous week for our family. Your Uncle Dave came home from Afghanistan! We were very lucky. He was hurt a couple of weeks before he came home when an IED exploded near him but with the exception of a concussion and blown ear drum he was physically fine. It was such a relief to be able to give him a hug and see his smiling face in person. It was also really special to see him hold you for the first time. You like his scruffy face:)

Week Twenty-Seven
This week you went to your first CA State Fair--- technically your second fair though since we took you to the Dixon May Fair a couple of months ago. You had a great time- but it was super hot so we stripped you down and dowsed you with sunscreen. For some reason the sunscreen turned your hair blue! It was pretty funny- and the artist who drew your caricature even included a little bit of blue hair in your drawing:) Dad and Auntie Courtney played some games and won you a little stuffed monkey. We're not sure how hygienic it is though so we just keep it on your bookshelf for now:)
