Happy One Month Hazel! February 28, 2011

So the story goes according to your Yay:

"In Vietnam we celebrate the one month and one year of birth and death.  For your one month of birth we thank the angels for teaching you to smile, frown, laugh, cry, etc--- all of these things that you do in your sleep are the things that the angels are helping you practice!"

We love you Hazel-Grace!

Celebrating with some yummy Asian food, flowers, candles, and incense!

Week Four

We got you all to ourselves this week.

You were happy about something!?

Playing on your play mat.  You can almost roll over from your stomach to your back!

Dad trying to get you to poop!  This is a common activity of ours.

Looking pretty in your tutu.

Auntie Shannon brought us lunch and dinner- homemade Rattatoulli-yummy!

Your first milk mustache (beard?).  We had to supplement your diet with formula because you got dehydrated in your first few days:(

Your Dad getting artistic with light and composition--- you're a pretty good subject!

Trying to tell us you're hungry!

You also had a little eye infection but we took care of it!

Love my Hazelnut!

Homecoming: January 30th, 2011

Welcome home!  You like your swing, but everyone thought it was pretty funny how your Dad strapped you in so tight on your first ride:)

Your brother Jasper couldn't wait to meet you.  He's giving you your first doggie kiss!

Birthday: January 28th, 2011

Welcome to the world little baby.  You were a screamer!

Your Gramma was really excited to meet you!

So was your Auntie Courtney!

Your Uncle David sent his love to you from Florida, just a few days before leaving for the war in Afghanistan.  He's the first person I talked to on the phone after you were born and he got to hear you cry!

Auntie Shannon and Uncle Dave also came to visit you in the hospital.  You were one day old!
