Week Fifteen

This was a very important week for your momma--- my first mother's day!  We had a great time.  On Saturday we went to the Dixon May Fair with your Auntie Court.  She had several kids from her class showing and selling their farm animals.  We ate fair food and had an all around good time.  On Sunday we opened gifts from you, Jasper and Emmett - I got some good stuff! A new lens for my camera, a speedlight and umbrella--- enough to set up a mini home studio... pics to come:)  Then we went to Toys R Us and got you a new exersaucer.  After that we went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch.  I also got to talk to your Uncle David on the phone and he wished me a happy first mother's day.  He said to give you a kiss- he can't wait to come home and meet you!

This week was also a big week for you developmentally--- you are easily rolling over from front to back and back to front and you've also started reaching your higher registers (screaming in other words).  You are standing for longer periods of time but need help with your balance and you can sit up as long as you are able to put your hands down on your sides for balance!  Your laughter is louder and longer and you smile when I smile at you.  You even play shy when you're eating- it's pretty funny! :)

On our way to the May Fair--- it was a sunny day so we had to cover you up good!

Exploring the fair.

Your parents and auntie started jogging this week and your Dad convinced us to all buy the same running shoes-- colorful!

Playing with your tutu.

This was one of your gifts to me for mother's day!
